Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to all goods and services provided by Pleit LLC (“Pleit”) to its customers (“Customers”) purchasing directly from Pleit or through its distributors or licensees. Pleit’s acceptance of any order from Customer is expressly made conditional on Customer’s assent to these terms and conditions, and under no circumstances will any other than these terms and conditions apply to Pleit’s sale or rent of goods. Customer agrees that any products coming from Pleit that Customer sells to any third party or end-user shall be sold pursuant to these terms and conditions.

Pleit does not accept any terms and conditions that deviate from these Terms and Conditions, except if such terms and conditions have been expressly accepted in writing by Pleit. Any such acceptance shall apply only to the transaction at issue, and in particular not to any past or future supplies or services.

  1. GENERAL 

Below please find the general Terms and Conditions to consider before acquiring the offered products and services. 

Customers consent to receive communications from Pleit, including emails, and phone calls. Customers will be responsible for any call rate charged by his/her phone provider.  

  1. RENTAL OF PRODUCTS

These Terms and Conditions apply to any rental and/or purchase of tabletop and decor items provided by Pleit. Below please find the Terms and Conditions to consider before renting the offered products and services. 

The rental of any item and the term of the lease begin when the selected item leaves Pleit’s warehouse and continues until the item is returned to Pleit and accepted by an authorized Pleit’s representative.

Hereby, Customers agree to treat the rented products with care, and take responsibility for any loss, destruction, or damage to the products for any reason other than normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear are considered minor and imperceptible marks derived from the natural use of the products, which will be determined by and under Pleit´s discretion. If a Customer returns a product damaged or under a different condition than when delivered, Customer agrees to pay Retail Value of the Product (listed on Pleit’s website).

Pleit shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss of unattended boxes. Hereby, Customers agree to provide a secure delivery address and acknowledge that, in the event of any loss box due to an incorrect or insecure location, Customer will be responsible for the cost of missing items. 

Customers will pay Pleit a rental fee for leased items (the “Rental Rate”) set forth in Pleit’s rental rates published on the website. All Rental Rates are subject to change without notice. Rate changes will be automatically updated on the Website to be publicly consulted by Customer when needed.  Customer shall pay rental Rate and/or any other charges beforehand, irrespective of any claims, complain, demands, set-offs, defenses, actions, suits, or proceedings that Customer may have against Pleit or any leased item.

Rental Rates exclude all federal, state, and local taxes, and other governmental assessments, all of which shall be collected and returned to government by Pleit. 

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and any other methods which may be clearly advertised on the site from time to time. Customer confirms that the credit/debit card that is being used is hers/hims or that Customer has been specifically authorized by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer.

Pleit will charge Customer’s payment card immediately upon order. In the event of non-returned or irreparable damage items or box, Customer hereby authorizes Pleit to charge Customer’s payment card for an amount equal to product’s retail value published on Pleit’s website.

Customers may cancel any rental order placed through Pleit’s website. All cancellations are subject to charges as explained below depending on the time in advance the rental order is being cancelled. Pleit will notify customers of any applicable charges before completing the cancellation process. All rental order cancellations should be handled through email (hi@pleitit.com). 

Hereby, Customer agrees to repack and return all the rented products the day after the event (event date is specified on the order details on the confirmation email sent by Pleit). Boxes returned in extreme conditions such as, but not limited to, exceedingly dirty, will be subject to an additional cleaning fee of $40. Furthermore, boxes returned containing broken or missing items due to the Customer’s lack of attention when repacking, will be subject to an additional fee equal to the retail value of the item(s). To see retail values please refer to Pleit’s website.  

In the event the Customer misses the original scheduled pickup date (specified on the order details on the confirmation email sent by Pleit), Customer will be  charged with an additional fee of $30 and Pleit will proceed to schedule a new pickup for the following day. Any additional pick-up rescheduling may result in an extra $50 daily charge. 

Pleit will consider all orders not returned within ten (10) calendar days after the original pick up date as an unreturned box (An “Unreturned Box”). Unreturned Boxes will be subject to an additional fee of 200% of the retail value of the loss items including the packaging box.

  1. SALES OF GOODS 

These Terms and Conditions apply to sale of any item rented and/or sold by Pleit. Below please find the Terms and Conditions to consider before purchasing the offered products and services.

Customers understand and agree that in the event of being unhappy with the product purchased, Pleit accepts returns of unused product in its original condition. Pleit’s Returns & Refund Policy gives customers 7 calendar days after delivery date to return any item (if applicable) purchased online with a valid order number. Customers must send an email to  hi@pleitit.com to coordinate returning details. Please note Pleit does not offer exchanges. Customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

To be eligible for returns, all physical products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including accessories and labels that shipped with the product. 

Once Customers returned items are received and inspected, Pleit will send and email notifying the reception and status of the refund. All refunds are subject to revision and could either be approved or disapproved. 

If a Customer’s request is approved, the refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to the Customer’s credit card or original payment method within 14 business days. Refund would be proceeded excluding shipping charges originally invoiced. 

In the case the returned item(s) present any of the following problems, only partial refunds could be granted:  

Products such as party supplies, complements and flowers are final sale. Pleit does not offer refund or credits for final sale items, unless they are defective. 

Discounted items are also considered final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Pleit only replace items if they are defective or damaged. In the event Customer needs to exchange an item for the same reference, contact hi@pleitit.com.

Disclaimer: Ceramic plates are handcrafted & hand-painted. Customer understands that there may be small, unique variations in color, shape, and/or pattern due to the nature of the creation process. Pleit does not consider any of these minor imperfections to make any product be categorized as defective or damaged.

It’s important that Customers understand that Pleit’s flower vendors select the freshest in-season flowers available, from time to time, there may be variations in the flower arrangements purchased by Customers. Pleit shall not be held responsible or liable for the life cycle of perishables. 

In the event that a Customer has a valid quality issue, Customer should send an email to hi@pleitit.com upon receival. Customers should provide a detailed description of the quality issue as well as photos of the flowers and Pleit will review the possibility of exchanging the arrangement/bouquet. Pleit do not offer refunds for the flowers.

The purchase price (the “Purchase Price”) of any item will be the purchase fee listed on Pleit´s website at the time of purchase. Pleit reserves the right to modify Purchase Price, discount, or availability of items at its discretion and without prior notice. 

Hereby, Customer authorizes Pleit to charge her/his payment card with the Purchase Price of selected items with purchase intention.

  1. PRIVACY

Pleit respects the privacy rights of its visitors and recognizes the importance of protecting the information collected about them. Pleit`s privacy policy seeks to protect the collection, storage, and usage of the personal information that Customers provide to Pleit.

When visitors leave comments on Pleit´s site, Pleit collects the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Customers consent to receive communications from Pleit, including emails, and phone calls. Customers will be responsible for any call rate charged by his/her phone provider.  

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely.   1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

None of this content will be subject to any obligation, whether of confidentiality, attribution or otherwise, on Pleit’s part. Pleit will not be liable for any use or disclosure of any Individual’s content.

In the event of any dispute between individuals and Pleit, both agree to first contact the other party to make a good faith effort to resolve the dispute before proceeding to a formal way of resolution.

In the event of nonresolution, all disputes will be resolved by Pleit’s selected Arbitrage agent. Individuals agree to give up the right to go to court to assert or defend an individual’s rights under this contract.
